Chapter 4

Soon the morning rays of the sun started to penetrate through the dark, stormy clouds suspended in the sky. Masters and Shantelle stood at the entrance of the mysterious cave, from which unheard-of, incredible sounds were coming. Masters moved his hands along the walls, searching for a hidden mechanism. It wasn’t a coincidence that they were dealing with a strange water tank or a complicated network of channels. They were facing something completely different. Shantelle, intrigued by Masters’ actions, pulled out a thin, silvery wand from her pocket.

Without hesitation, she whispered the mysterious spell she had learned from an old witch in Charleston. In doing so, she compelled the tycjusznice, magical creatures inhabiting these lands, to reveal the secrets concealed by the cave. In response, the wand started to flicker. Its prickly light illuminated the interior of the cave, revealing indistinct silhouettes of majestic sculptures hidden within the rocky walls. Their eyes shimmered in the light like precious stones. There was much to think about.

Masters, stunned by the discovery, looked around the cave. Shantelle put the wand back into her pocket, gazing at him trustfully. In her eyes, he saw the determination that he himself also experienced. He knew that together they could overcome any obstacle, unveil any secret. This time, he was certain that there was something in the cave that his client had no clue about.

He desired to conclude the matter, but he was unaware that the greatest challenge still awaited him. In the pitch-dark room, where the wand Shantelle only faintly glimmered, a secret awaited them so powerful that their cooperation would be the least of the requirements. Their fates intertwined, creating a force that transcended the boundaries of known reality. Finally, they would be able to uncover the truth about what truly happened in Charleston.
