Missing employees who changed jobs
Time that won’t come back
Colleagues often become like family. We spend eight hours a day, five days a week with them. We laugh and celebrate successes together, and sometimes share failures. When someone decides to change jobs, it’s natural to feel a sense of longing. The shared moments where time seems to stop during morning coffee remain only in our memories.
Anger, microaggressions, and jokes
Work isn’t always easy. There are times when anger, microaggressions, or inappropriate jokes affect relationships between colleagues. Nevertheless, when we realize that one of our colleagues is leaving, we begin to appreciate all the moments spent together, even the difficult ones. Thanks to them, we’ve learned how to deal with conflicts and build strong professional relationships.
Building new relationships
New employees who replace those who have left can bring fresh ideas and energy to the team. However, building close relationships with them may take some time. It’s worth remembering that new acquaintances can bring many benefits, both professional and personal. By getting to know new people, we learn new things and become more open to diversity.
Appreciating shared time
Missing former colleagues is a natural feeling that shows that the time spent together was valuable. It’s important to respectfully remember those who have changed jobs and, at the same time, be open to new acquaintances. After all, every person we spend time with impacts our lives and contributes to our growth.
