Living in the office with two cats: My temporary solution

I have been living in the office with two cats for a few weeks now. It’s a temporary solution that I had to take due to renovation in my apartment. At first, I was afraid of how I would manage with this setup, but now I think it’s quite an interesting option.

Although it’s an office, I managed to create a cozy sleeping place. I bought a comfortable sofa and bedding so that I can wake up fresh and rested every morning. I no longer have to wake up at 5 am to be on time for my commute. Now, it only takes a few steps to get to my desk.

The biggest surprise for me was the cats. My employer agreed to my request to let them stay with me during my stay here. At first, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to take care of them, but they are very independent themselves. They just need food and a clean litter box.

There’s also one important thing I need to remember - wearing pajamas is not acceptable here. Even though I work from home, I still have to follow a certain dress code. Sometimes I forget, but I quickly remind myself that I am in a workplace.

Living in the office with two cats has taught me that humans can quickly adapt to new conditions. On the one hand, this experience is a bit unusual, but on the other hand, I am glad that I have such an opportunity. Soon, I’ll be back in my apartment, but for now, I’m happy with my time spent in the office.
