From Triumph in Ping-Pong to Nightmare with a DSLR!
As soon as the doors of the sports hall closed, the euphoria from winning the ping-pong match dissipated like morning fog. The victory, which was eagerly anticipated as a triumph, could no longer be celebrated. I had to tend to the repair of my beloved camera, which unexpectedly halted all activities.
The purchase of this camera was one of my biggest dreams. So when I noticed that it wasn’t working properly, my heart started beating faster. Initially, it seemed like nothing serious - maybe I just needed to pay it a bit more attention. However, despite all my efforts, the camera refused to cooperate. I realized that the repair would not be as simple as I initially thought.
What was supposed to be a triumphant day, entering into my history as the day of my ping-pong victory, began to resemble a nightmare. The thought that my favorite camera might be beyond repair introduced additional dissonance into my inner world. I felt like I was not only losing the equipment, but also a part of myself that was so closely tied to photography.
This story is primarily a reminder that successes and failures often go hand in hand. My victory in the ping-pong match cost me a lot of effort and determination. The struggle with the stubborn camera, which posed so many problems in its repair, was equally exhausting. But every experience, whether pleasant or not, is part of our journey and shapes us as individuals. Even when it seems like I went straight from triumph to nightmare.
